Information Prophets Ltd, parent company of DE Compliance and Digital Energy was established in 2003 by founder Wai Lau, to commercialise the energy diagnostics technology that was pioneered during his studies at Manchester University. Located at Manchester Science Park the empowerment of energy users had just began.
As Information Prophets our first market exposure came through a small stand at the NEMEX exhibition, promoting the Activelog product. The soft launch of what was the first commercially available online building energy logbook was received with interest.
In 2008 I-Prophets Energy Services became the first UK Organisation to have a consultant approved both as a DEC and Commercial EPC Assessor.
In 2009 the awards for ‘Display Energy Certificate of the Year’ and ‘Energy Performance Certificate of the Year’ were won at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards.
